Inexpensive Air Beds Can Still Offer Great ComfortInexpensive air beds don't need to be uncomfortable. On the contrary, some of the lower cost air mattresses can be very comfortable. Whether you plan to use one of these air beds for guests or a permanent sleeping situation, you may be surprised at the value, comfort, and convenience of some of these inexpensive air beds.
Intex Air Bed Because of the increasing popularity of air beds, there are now quite a few different brands available. There are many inexpensive air beds available for under $100, and even under $50. Some of the more popular brands include Aero (aka Aerobed), Intex, and Coleman. These manufacturers produce a lot of air mattresses. There are other companies such as Wenzel and Simmons that also offer inexpensive air beds. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" holds some truth here. That doesn't mean that you have to spend a lot of money. On the contrary, if you shop around a little, you can find a very good quality air bed for a very good price.
Aero Air Bed In the past, some people have had problems with cheaper Intex mattresses developing leaks. So, if you plan to use it a lot, then you might want to consider investing a little more. At the same time, some of the cheapest Coleman air mattresses seem to have good reviews from people that own them. Just keep in mind that typically the cheapest air mattresses will not come with an air pump. You will have to provide your own. Some of the inexpensive air beds will come with a portable air pump. Other air beds will come with built in pumps (some are battery powered and some are plug in AC). Even better, some of the nicer air beds like the Aerobeds will come with a built in AC pump that also has a handheld control for quickly and easily adjusting air pressure. This enables the user to adjust and fine tune the firmness (inflate/deflate) to suit their particular comfort level, without needing to get out of bed to mess with a separate pump.
Coleman Air Bed Generally, if you are looking for a guest bed for occasional and temporary use, then you can probably get away with one of the cheapest air beds. There are quite a few choices under $50. Some are much less than $50. However, if you want to offer your guests more comfort, or if you plan to use an air bed for a more permanent sleeping arrangement, then you might want to consider paying a little more and getting an air bed with more features. Fortunately for the consumer, there are now many different inexpensive air beds to choose from!
