Over 50 years of Polaris Snow MachinesPolaris has been in the business of snowmobiles for over 50 years now, and they are a popular choice among winter recreation enthusiasts. There is a very large selection of different models to choose from. Polaris makes a sled that should meet the needs of every enthusiast... and then some! Below are the main categories in the product lineup:
Within each category of Polaris snowmobile, there is a product line with multiple models available to choose from with different levels of features and price. In the YOUTH category, there is one model available, but the other categories have different models to choose from within each category. All that to say, there are a LOT of different choices! Below is just a sample of one snowmobile from each category of the Polaris product line.
Polaris Fusion The Polaris Fusion product line focuses more on high performance. These Fusion machines are offered with different performance options, but all of them are powerful machines. Models in this product line include the: Polaris 600HO Fusion, 700 Fusion, and 900 Fusion.
Polaris Switchback Then we have the Polaris Switchback product line which includes models like: FST Switchback (with turbocharged 750cc 4 stroke engine), the 600HO Switchback (120HP!), and 900 Switchback. These machines are designed to be versatile and allow the rider to cross over between a variety of snow conditions and terrain.
Polaris Super Sport The Polaris Trail Sport line includes the Super Sport, Super Sport M10, and Polaris Indy 500. This category of machines is designed to offer good all around, versatile snowmobiles without a lot of extra fancy features that can drive prices up.
Polaris RMK The Polaris RMK models are designed for deep snow. There are several different models available in this category with 600, 700, & 900 sized engines and a wide variety of different track lengths to choose from. Lots of different choices in this particular category!
Polaris Touring Then there are the Polaris Touring machines designed for carrying 2 people comfortably across a variety of terrain. Models in this category include the: 340 Touring, 600 Touring, FST Touring (turbocharged 4 stroke engine), the 700 Touring, and more!
Polaris Classic The Trail Luxury category offers another wide variety of choices in the Polaris Classis line. Models in the Classic line include the: 340 Classic, FS Classic, FST Classic, 500 Classic, 550 Classic, 600 Classic, & 700 Classic. Lots of choices here! These Polaris snowmobiles offer more traditional styling and are another good choice for all around, multi-purpose snow machines.
Polaris Youth And last, but not least there is the Youth category with the Pro 120 X model. This lightweight sled only weighs in at around 145lbs (dry - no fuel or fluids), and it is propelled by a small 120cc engine. This model is specifically designed with the youngster in mind and helps to introduce a young beginner to the sport of snowmobile riding. A variety of different safety features built into the Pro 120 X help keep the new rider safer. As you can see, there is LARGE selection of Polaris snowmobiles to choose from! This is just a small sample of all the models that are available. In fact, there are so many good choices, that it can be a difficult task to know which one to choose! A happy problem!
