Razor Dirt Rocket Bike Fun!

For those looking for some off road fun in an electric powered vehicle, then check out the electric Razor motorcycles.  These scaled down electric dirt bikes come in different models and sizes for riders of different ages and sizes.  There are the Razor MX350, MX400, MX500, and MX650 models to choose from.  The smaller MX350 Razor dirt rocket bike can carry riders of up to 140lbs.  Chain driven with a quiet electric motor, this electric dirt bike has a top speed of up to 14mph and can travel up to 10 miles on a single charge with up to 30 minutes of continuous run time.  This Razor motorcycle has a 24V battery pack made up of two 12V sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries.  The MX350 itself weighs in at 65 lbs and has an overall size of 44" long by 24.5" wide by 31" tall.  Adjustable front riser handlebars combined with a double crown fork front suspension helps to increase the comfort of the ride.  Twist grip throttle controls the acceleration, while a hand operated rear brake helps to keep the fun under control.  Folding metal foot pegs and a retractable kickstand round out the MX350 features.  The Razor MX400 is basically the same machine as the MX350 except for a change in the color scheme.  Quite simply, the MX350 is blue, and the MX400 is green.  All other specifications appear to be virtually identical for all practical purposes.

For larger riders of up to 175lbs, the Razor MX500 offers some more features.  This Razor motorcycle weighs 98 lbs and is 56 inches long by 24.5 inches wide by 36 inches tall.  Larger 16" front and 14" rear pneumatic knobby tires, and a front and rear suspension help increase the comfort on off-road terrain.  Adjustable riser handlebars can be tweaked to match different riders.  The MX500 has a top speed of up to 15 mph and a range of up to 10 miles on a single charge with a continuous run time of up to 40 minutes on a full charge.  The MX500 comes with a 36V SLA battery pack.  The twist grip throttle controls the acceleration, and disc brakes in the front and rear scrub off the speed.  A retractable kickstand and folding metal foot pegs are included.  The authentic dirt bike style frame geometry of the Razor MX500 also gives it good looks and better performance.

If you are looking for one of the Razor motorcycles with a higher weight capacity for larger riders, then you might want to consider the MX650.  It features all the same great features of the MX500, but with upgrades that give it an increased weight capacity for riders up to 220lbs.  Top speed of the MX650 is also a little higher at 17 mph.  Most of the other specs are the same as the MX500, so the Razor MX650 is just a step up for bigger riders.

If you prefer a quad style machine, the Razor Dirt Quad offers the stability of 4 wheels on the ground.  The Dirt Quad is capable of carrying a rider who weighs up to 120 lbs.  The 24V battery pack can give up to 40 minutes of run time on a single charge.  To keep thing simpler and less expensive, the front end does not have a suspension, but the rear has a suspension with a coil shock.  There are 13" turf style tires at all 4 corners, and a rear disc brake helps to slow the Dirt Quad down.  Overall size of the Dirt Quad is 43" long x 24" wide x 31.5" tall with a vehicle weight of 89 lbs.

So, if you are looking for a small scale electric motorcycle with off road motocross styling, then you might want to consider one of these Razor Dirt Rocket bikes.  Quiet operation with low cost and a low maintenance design makes these electric Razor motorcycles suitable for areas where gas powered motorcycles might not be appropriate.  Because they are quiet, these can be ridden in places where a noisy gas powered dirt bike would never be allowed.  In addition to that, these Razor electric motorcycles are much more economical to buy than your typical kid's dirt bike.  You can buy the Razor motorcycles for much less money than a gasoline powered dirt bike.  The slower speeds of these electric motorcycles help them to be safer than the higher speeds possible on gas powered motorcycles.  So, there are a lot of reasons to consider the Razor motorcycles:  quiet, economical, safer, and lots of FUN!
