Rossi Guns Provide A Lot of Firearm for the MoneyThe Rossi gun company was founded by Amadeo Rossi in Brazil back in 1889. Rossi was founded on the principle that a gun should be affordable, accurate, and reliable. For more than 100 years, Rossi has tried to operate on this principle. In more recent time, Rossi has teamed up with Taurus to continue on the Rossi name. Initially, Taurus bought the rights to produce 7 different Rossi revolvers. Later, Taurus purchased the rights to produce and distribute all of the Rossi guns. Essentially, Taurus now owns Rossi while still allowing Rossi to exist and operate under their own name. BrazTech International is the exclusive importer of Rossi guns in the United States and for all of North America. It might be of interest for you to know that BrazTech is also operated by Taurus. In a nutshell, you have 2 different Brazilian companies that have joined forces to work together to reach more of the market with their firearms. Rossi Arms are well known for their simplicity and great value. A variety of single shot firearms help to offer shooters a good gun at an economical price. In many situations, it's the first shot that really matters the most anyway. In the case of hunting, if the animal was not hit with the first shot, then it's very likely that it will be scared away and out of range in short order. So, a single shot is often all that is needed to get the job done. The main benefit of these single shot rifles is that they are very reasonably priced and offer the gun buyer a very good value. Rossi guns include rifles chambered in .223, .243, .270, .30-06, .308, and 7.62. A special heavy barrel version (shown below) is also available for the popular .223 and .243 loads.
For those looking for some rimfire rifle action, Rossi also manufactures a .17 HMR rifle. Offered in a blued version as well as stainless steel (shown below), both choices provide an economical way to get into the rimfire shooting sport.
Rossi also makes break open single shot shotguns. Available in .410, 20, and 12 gauge, these firearms allow shooters to get a shotgun at a very economical price. Also available are 12 and 20 gauge slug guns that come equipped with button rifled barrels, open sights, and mounts for a scope.
Rossi makes muzzleloaders designed to be used with Pyrodex powders and solid copper sabot bullets. These guns utilize standard 209 primers for reliable ignition, and can be purchased in .45 and .50 caliber versions.
In addition to the muzzleloaders and single shot rifles and shotguns, Rossi has come out with some innovative new guns. One of these unique firearms is the Rossi Circuit Judge. Part revolver and part rifle, the Circuit Judge is chambered for the following rounds: 410 GA, 410/.45LC combo, .44 MAG, 28 GA, 22LR/22MAG convertible.
In addition to the Circuit Judge, Rossi guns also include a variety of different lever action guns to choose from. There is the Ranch Hand, Rio Grande, and their normal lever action series. Probably the most unique of the Rossi lever action guns is the Ranch Hand. This gun is technically classified as a pistol, and so the 12" barrel meets federal gun regulations. Short and compact, the Ranch Hand can hold 6 shots and is available chambered for several different pistol rounds including the: .45 LC (Long Colt), .44 MAG, .45 COLT, and .357 MAG.
Another category of unique Rossi guns are the Matched Sets. Guns that are available with from 2 to 4 interchangeable barrels. In the picture below is the .243 / .22LR / 20GA. / .410 GA matched set. It's like owning 4 guns in 1! Some of the Matched Sets also come with a .50 cal muzzleloader barrel. These are very interesting and innovative guns.
Finally, Rossi is know for its revolvers. Three models of .38 Special revolvers (2" & 4" barrel lengths) and four models of .357 Magnum revolvers (2", 4" 6" barrel lengths). There are standard blued finish revolvers and stainless steel versions available.
As you can see, Rossi Arms include MANY models of both long guns and handguns to choose from! Just as its founder Amadeo Rossi desired, Rossi guns help make shooting affordable so that more people can enjoy the sport. If you are searching for an economical and innovative rifle, shotgun, revolver, or modern muzzleloader, then you might want to look at a Rossi.
