Traxxas Rustler VXL 3708 Stadium Truck

The Traxxas Rustler VXL 3708 pushes electric stadium truck performance to the next level.  Equipped with Traxxas' powerful brushless motor system and optional gearing, speeds of over 70 mph are possible with the Traxxas Rustler VXL!   The optional 31 tooth pinion gear and the 76 tooth spur gear along with a 8000+ maH LiPo battery pack (11.1V) gives this Rustler the power to reach insanely fast speeds.  The Traxxas Rustler has been beefed up to handle the extra power of the VXL brushless system.  A Revo spec slipper clutch on the spur gear helps control the power as it is transferred from the pinion gear on the powerful Velineon 3500 motor to the spur gear at the input of the transmission.  The Magnum 272 transmission has been strengthened with all steel internal gears.  The planetary gear differential has hardened steel internal gears for greater strength.  The telescoping driveshafts have been redesigned for better strength and durability.  Equipped with the optional battery pack and gearing, this is not just your typical electric stadium truck.  Get ready for a wild ride!

Further improvements include newly designed, stronger steering blocks up front and hub carriers out back.  On both ends, larger 5x11 sealed ball bearings help reduce friction and keep things rolling smoothly.  All throughout the Traxxas Rustler VXL, high quality sealed ball bearings help increase both performance and durability.  Adjustable heavy duty turnbuckles allow camber and toe adjustments up front, while the captured rod ends help to further increase durability.  Black chrome wheels come with tires already pre-glued with foam inserts means this rc truck is ready to roll out of the box.  Rear tires are a pinned design, while the front tires are a grooved for directional control in off road conditions.  For those that want to run their Rustler on-road more, optional Anaconda tires helped provide improved traction on the pavement.  The light weight of the Traxxas Rustler VXL combined with the powerful brushless motor system results in an incredible power to weight ratio.  If you are looking for an extremely powerful, off the shelf electric stadium truck, then you may want to take a look at the Traxxas Rustler VXL 3708.

UPDATE:  Traxxas has updated the Rustler VXL with the new TQ 2.4GHz radio system.  In addition, the VXL-3S ESC is now waterproof for fun in the snow and rain.  Traxxas now ships the Rustler VXL with a 7 cell 8.4V battery pack and charger.  With these improvements, the model number has been changed from 3708 to the new Traxxas Rustler VXL 3707.  The model number might have been moved back, but the new upgrades moves this fun truck forward in the pack. This exciting new combination offers a lot of fun for the money!
