Traxxas Velineon Extreme Brushless Horsepower!

Traxxas Velineon brings the extreme horsepower of brushless motor technology to the masses.  Once again, Traxxas has broken new ground by making a high technology brushless system available for the average user to enjoy.  With the Traxxas Velineon brushless system, tire yanking wheelies and speeds in excess of 70mph are possible!

Traxxas Velineon

The Traxxas Velineon 3500 brushless motor utilizes powerful Neodymium rare earth magnets, high speed ball bearings, and a precision balanced rotor assembly.  Because there are no brushes or commutator, friction is greatly reduced allowing the motor to spin freely transmitting maximum horsepower to the vehicle.  In addition, this more efficient brushless design means longer run times.  No more brushes or commutator to to wear out means less maintenance.  A great brushless motor is not very useful without a properly matched Electronic Speed Control (ESC) module...

Traxxas Velineon VXL

The Traxxas Velineon system comes with the VXL-3s ESC that is optimized for use with the Traxxas Velineon 3500 brushless motor.  The VXL-3s uses advanced technology, but at the same time Traxxas has designed it to accommodate both brushed motors and brushless (with and without sensors).  This easy to use system auto detects the type of motor being used, and automatically adjusts to match.  Equipped with double thermal overload protection and built in circuitry protection to guard against accidental miswiring, the Traxxas Velineon VXL-3s provides both high performance and a high level of user friendliness.

In addition to the Traxxas Velineon 3500 brushless motor and VXL-3s ESC, Traxxas utilizes heavy duty 12 gauge wiring that helps to lower resistance and allows more power to be transmitted from the battery pack to the ESC and on to the motor.  Low resistance wiring alone is not very effective if old style electrical connectors act as a bottleneck to the high current flows possible in a brushless motor system.  As a result, Traxxas Velineon incorporates a low resistance connector system that utilizes large, gold plated, spring loaded connector contacts that helps to ensure that maximum electrical energy is reliably transmitted.

For those that have been wanting to enjoy the extreme performance of brushless motor technology, but have been kept away by the extremely high prices or the complexity of previously available systems, the Traxxas Velineon brushless motor system helps to bring the fun to the masses!
